This hummus and quick and vegan. It is great as a dip or as an addition to a bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained

  • 3 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 2 tsp. tahini

  • 2 -3 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. cumin

  • 1/4 -1/2 cup water, depending on your desired consistency

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1/2 tsp. paprika pepper

Directions

  • Put the chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, and water into a processor or blender and blend into a smooth paste. Gradually add the olive oil, stirring continuously. Stir in the salt and place in a serving dish. Pour the rest of the olive oil over it and sprinkle on the paprika pepper to garnish.
  • Serve at room temperature.
