Bengal cat, Sebastian – The Wildcat Sanctuary: Sandstone, MNSebastian indoors in a human common area of the sanctuary, where he can be closely monitored. Sebastian arrived with an upper-respiratory infection and had to be segregated from the other residents so it doesn’t spread.
Goat, Princess – Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary: Poolesville, MD
Princess had a bad respiratory infection upon arrival but is doing better on antibiotics and is also being treated for internal and external parasites. She has to stay in a quarantine barn until her conditions are no longer contagious to other animals, but she can see the other goats and is clearly excited to be out with them. In the meantime, the sanctuary staff is bringing her fresh-picked grass to eat every-day, and say that she loves that!
