Baseball season is in full swing, and PETA has scouted its top picks for the most vegan-friendly stadiums in North America. Whether fans are craving “cheesy” nachos, sweet and creamy dairy-free shakes, or ballpark classics like burgers and hot dogs, these venues have delicious vegan options that will be a hit with everyone. The honorees include the following:

  • Atlanta Braves’ Truist Park: Atlanta’s own Slutty Vegan offers its trademark Hollywood Hooker—a chopped Philly piled high with vegan steak, jalapeños, bell peppers, onions, and vegan provolone. In addition, Smokey Q makes a stellar veggie dog with all the trimmings.
  • Chicago White Sox’s Guaranteed Rate Field: Hungry Sox fans will find vegan burgers, hot dogs, and chicken-free tenders at multiple locations throughout the stadium, plus spicy vegan chorizo at both Buenos Nachos stands.
  • Colorado Rockies’ Coors Field: Baseball fans in the Mile High City can head to the stadium’s all-new, all-vegan Better-Off Burgers for rich and creamy dairy-free milkshakes, a mouthwatering meat-free cheeseburger, or a spicy “chorizo” burger topped with vegan smoked Gouda.
  • New York Mets’ Citi Field: The Metsies’ home field boasts its own Vegan City stand, where hungry visitors can choose from an array of offerings, including tacos and nachos smothered in melty vegan cheese. Fans who want a sweet treat can get a cool Dole Whip, available at locations throughout the stadium.
  • New York Yankees’ Yankee Stadium: Just across the East River, Yanks fans can indulge in nondairy ice cream from Blue Bunny; grab a savory Sweet Spot Bowl loaded with sweet plantains, rice, black beans, pickled onions, and cilantro sauce from Legends Hospitality; or pick up falafel from one of The Halal Guys’ two carts—just hold the white sauce.
  • Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park: Phillie Phanatics looking for an iconic Philly classic will fall in love with the vegan cheesesteaks at Campo’s at Ashburn Alley as well as animal-friendly hot dogs, vegan gyros, and the new Buffalo Chik’n Ranch Hoagie at Greens and Grains.
  • San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park: Fans of The G-Men can choose from meat-free burgers, chili, and nuggets or Doggie Diner’s hearty Field Roast veggie dog.
  • Seattle Mariners’ T-Mobile Park: Mariners fans hankering for a savory snack can grab a Vegetable & Mushroom Bun at Din Tai Fung, try the new crispy tofu tots at Marination, or opt for a vegan burger or sausage at The Natural. This season’s new flavor at Salt & Straw is a cool vegan strawberry and coconut water sherbet.
  • Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field: The Visiting Vegan cart boasts a variety of meat-free burgers, hot dogs, and nuggets, plus a heaping plate of nachos drizzled with dairy-free cheese. For dessert, fans can head to the Oatly stand for top-notch vegan soft serve.
  • Toronto Blue Jays’ Rogers Centre: Peckish Bluebirds fans can enjoy plenty of animal-friendly twists on classic stadium fare, including “steak tip” tacos, veggie dogs, meat-free beef wraps, and French fries smothered in mouthwateringly savory vegan gravy.
  • Washington Nationals’ Nationals Park: Nats fans can get a delectable vegan quesadilla crunch wrap at Nats Snacks and pig-free soy chicharrón with vegan cheese at La Casita Pupusaria. For dessert, Eli’s Crepes has a variety of sweet crepes (hold the whipped cream and Nutella).

“From dairy-free ice cream, nachos, and cheesesteaks to juicy meat-free cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and sausages, these delicious vegan offerings will have every fan rooting for more,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “All the stadiums on PETA’s list are knocking it out of the park with food that leaves animals in peace—not in pieces.”

Every person who goes vegan spares nearly 200 animals each year daily suffering and a terrifying death and reduces their own risk of developing heart disease and cancer. PETA’s free vegan starter kit can help those looking to make the switch.

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—points out that Every Animal Is Someone and offers free Empathy Kits for people who need a lesson in kindness. For more information, please visit PETA.org or follow the group on X, Facebook, or Instagram.
