It’s August, and you know what that means—back to school! As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved this month for that very reason. Not that I loved going back to school, but the shopping that commences just before one does so is, well, worth submitting to the semesters that follow. Although I graduated from college five years ago, I still go “back-to-school shopping”—hey, it’s nostalgic, and I’m practicing for when I have children of my own. So whether you’re heading back to the classroom or just want to honor tradition (hehe), you’re going to need a bag to carry you through until spring.
Some of you might be surprised to learn that millions of animals are slaughtered each year and turned into shoes, handbags, belts, and other accessories. With tons of fashionable and cruelty-free alternatives available, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that killing animals just ain’t smart. So don’t fail your animal friends this fall—go faux for all your back-to-school fashions.
Studious or studious, I’ve got just the satchels you’ve been searching for. Plus, two lucky winners have a chance to win my fabulous Navoh picks (this teacher’s playing favorites: the Christopher and Chambers) by leaving a comment below! Tell me what cruelty-free products you’d carry in your new bag—if there’s one thing that I like as much as accessories, it’s makeup!
