When it comes to coffee and tea creamers, you may have to try a few before you find the perfect one for you. Some are creamier, some are sweeter, but there’s something that all the best ones have in common: They don’t harm cows by using their milk. Even if creamers tout a “dairy-free” label, you may find milk derivatives such as casein in the ingredients. Thankfully, there are so many delicious vegan coffee creamers to choose from, and they’re widely available in most grocery stores.
Here are some of our favorite vegan coffee creamers:
Silk
Silk offers a wide variety of vegan creamers, including options made with almond, oat, or soy milks. It also has nondairy heavy whipping cream and canned cold foam creamers made with oat milk.
Califia Farms
The brand’s creamers are gluten-free, carrageenan-free, and non-GMO.
Elmhurst 1925
Plant-based milk company Elmhurst 1925 has a wide variety of vegan creamers to choose from, including ones made from cashew or oat milk. Unique flavors like Cinnamon Churro and Pistachio Crème can be found alongside classics like Sweet Cream and Unsweetened Cashew.
Forager Project
Forager’s Half & Half, made from coconut cream and cashew milk, is all creaminess and no sugar. These two halves make a whole lot of goodness to add to your coffee.
Laird Superfood
This health-conscious company (and PETA Business Friend) has thought of an ingenious way to start your day: with superfoods in your coffee. Its delicious vegan and gluten-free coffee creamers are packed with superfoods like coconut milk, Aquamin (calcium from marine algae), organic extra-virgin coconut oil, turmeric, and others. Plus, the creamers don’t need to be refrigerated, so you can take them with you on camping trips and other adventures.
natural bliss
Coffee Mate’s natural bliss line includes nondairy options made with almond, coconut, or oat milk. Flavors include Brown Sugar and Zero Sugar Cinnamon Crème.
New Barn Organics
This company uses organic almond milk to create its Barista almondmilk.

This brand uses coconut cream and almonds to create a perfect texture. It offers seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Spice and Vanilla Lemon, and you can choose flavors like Hazelnut, Original, and French Vanilla year-round.
Oatly
Oatly’s oat milk–based creamers come in flavors like Caramel, Sweet & Creamy, and Vanilla.
Planet Oat
Add a sweet and creamy touch to your cup of coffee with Planet Oat’s creamers, which include seasonal flavors like Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice.
Ripple Foods Half & Half
Ripple Foods is tapping into the power of peas with vegan creamers that have less saturated fat and cholesterol than dairy creamers plus added omega-6s and omega-3s from plant sources. This is perfect for those who don’t have a sweet tooth.
Starbucks
This major coffee chain’s line of creamers features five vegan varieties made with almond or oat milk: Non-Dairy Caramel Macchiato, Non-Dairy Hazelnut Latte, Non-Dairy Pumpkin Spice Latte, Non-Dairy Sugar Cookie Latte, and Non-Dairy Vanilla Latte. These creamers are inspired by popular Starbucks drinks and can be used to make your own specialty coffees at home.
Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s offers a Non-Diary Oat Creamer in its popular Brown Sugar flavor as well as seasonal flavors like Cinnamon Bun.
Walden Farms
This “accidentally vegan” creamer comes in Caramel, Original Cream, Sweet Cream, French Vanilla, Mocha, and Hazelnut flavors.
Don’t brew your own coffee at home? Almost all places that serve it offer soy, almond, coconut, and other vegan milks, so don’t be afraid to ask for them.
