Creamy Vegan Salad Dressings to Take Your Next Lunch Up a Notch

Looking for vegan creamy salad dressing? Whether it’s cruelty-free ranch, Caesar, or Thousand Island—or another dairy-free option—we’ve got your salad covered.

Dairy production is both cruel and sexist. (Yeah, we said it.) That’s why more and more people are demanding that brands offer vegan products. And guess what? Dairy-free and meat-free items are practically flooding store shelves at the moment. It’s encouraging to see these changes, so let’s keep up the good work. We look forward to a future in which everyone knows that going vegan benefits animals, the environment, and their own health.

Enjoy these creamy vegan salad dressings, which are available at a grocery store near you:

Kraft

That’s right—even Kraft has “accidentally vegan” creamy salad dressings, including Classic or Zesty Catalina and Fat Free Creamy French. The Creamy Italian is also milk- and egg-free, but the variety made with olive oil isn’t, so be sure to check the ingredients.

Trader Joe’s

Thank goddess for Trader Joe’s Goddess Dressing. We swear this store has so many vegan goodies that it’s hard to keep track of them all.

Follow Your Heart

We’ve been in love with Follow Your Heart products for a while. We’re obsessed with the anchovy-free Organic Vegan Caesar and think it’s awesome that some of the dressings are fortified with omega-3s. (Check out these great ways to get omega-3 fatty acids from plants.) Choose from Vegan Ranch, Vegan Creamy Avocado Oil Ranch, Vegan Bleu Cheese, Organic Vegan Caesar, Vegan Honey Mustard, and Vegan Thousand Island.

Newman’s Own

The “accidentally vegan” Creamy Balsamic and Poppy Seed dressings are available at your local grocery store.

Organicville

This delicious salad dressing line is available at Target and other big-box stores. Flavors include French, Non-Dairy Ranch, Balsamic Vinaigrette with Olive Oil, Sundried Tomato & Garlic, Italian, and Caesar.

Annie’s

One might call this the original Goddess dressing. It’s delicious, and doesn’t need dairy to achieve the perfect creamy texture.

Daiya

Daiya is another of our favorite brands that makes delicious vegan products free from animal suffering. Blue Cheeze, Creamy Caesar, and Homestyle Ranch are all equally yummy.

Hilary’s

Coconut milk is the secret creamy ingredient in Hilary’s Ranch Chia and Spicy Island. What can’t coconut milk do?

Briannas

This brand can be found at Vons, Ralphs, Gelson’s Markets, Target, Whole Foods Market, and elsewhere. Flavors include Blush Wine Vinaigrette, Real French Vinaigrette, Rich Poppy Seed, and Zesty French.

Walden Farms

Talk about “accidentally vegan”: Even the bacon flavors are made with soy “bacon” bits. We love it. Choose from these calorie-free creamy dressing flavors: Bac’n Ranch, Ranch, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic & Herb Vinaigrette, Sweet & Tangy Chicken Dip’n Sauce, Creamy Bac’n, Sesame Ginger, Creamy Italian, French, Russian, and Thousand Island.
