All the New Vegan Products Coming in 2025

Published by Rebecca Maness.

I love all the tried-and-true animal-friendly staples (tofu, tempeh, Beyond Meat, and so on), but there’s always room for more vegan love in my kitchen. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for new products to try, whether they’re innovative “meats,” meltier cow-friendly cheeses, or snacks and prepared meals that make my life easier.

Here are some of the new vegan products I’m excited to see on my grocery store’s shelves in 2025:

Coyotas Cassava Tortillas

Coyotas’ grain- and gluten-free cassava flour tortillas look authentic and delicious. I’ll be trying them with my homemade vegan carne asada recipe—it’s seitan marinated in a mixture of orange juice, cilantro, chipotle in adobo, and other spices, then charred to perfection. Just serve it on a warmed cassava tortilla and top with finely diced cilantro and onion for a cow-friendly take on this classic.

Mint Chocolate Crunch Candid Noons

Mint and chocolate have been my favorite sweet flavor combination since I was a kid, so I’ll be reaching for the mint flavor of Candid’s crunchy chocolate-coated quinoa crisps. They’ll be perfect for that post-lunch sweets craving.

Lenny & Larry’s Fitzels

I’m always looking for more high-protein, savory snacks for an afternoon pick-me-up, and Lenny & Larry’s Fitzels are just what I want. They come in four flavors: Everything Bagel, Pizza Palooza, Boujie Mustard, and Chili Lime Time.

Beyond Meat’s Whole-Muscle Steak

Ever since Beyond Meat announced plans to create a new steak made from mycelium (basically, fungi), I’ve been anxiously awaiting its launch. I love the brand’s steak tips and think a whole-cut version would be really fun to experiment with in the kitchen. Rumors are that this product will roll out in a restaurant chain first, but I’m still hoping for a retail version as well.

Sproud Barista Zero

I’ve become a two-coffees-a-day kind of girlie ever since I got my Breville Bambino, but keeping my sugar intake in check is important to me. So Sproud’s sugar-free barista milk is totally up my alley.

Whole Moon Pistachio Milk

I really think this pistachio milk from Whole Moon will take a matcha latte to the next level. I’m always excited to try new vegan milks—it’s a wide world of options, and the best part is that none of them are cruel to cows.

Vegan Zeastar Plant-Based Sushi Rolls

Frozen sushi rolls are great for quick lunches, and these ones from Vegan Zeastar look to be packed with flavor. Fish are intelligent individuals who have sophisticated social structures and deserve our respect, which is why I’ll always choose vegan fish over flesh.

Wild Earth Unicorn Pate Wet Cat Food

OK, this isn’t something I’m excited to try, but I do think my cat, Cosmo, will be excited to try it. Wild Earth’s fortified formula is made without animal ingredients but still contains everything your cat needs to stay healthy and happy.

Nutella Plant-Based

Ferrero launched Nutella Plant-Based in Europe back in September 2024, and I’m hoping the brand will expand this offering in the U.S. in 2025. This animal-friendly version of the creamy chocolate-hazelnut treat is made with chickpeas and rice syrup instead of dairy stolen from cows.

Plonts Plant-Based Cheddar

Plonts is a soybean-based vegan cheese that’s better for cows and the planet—I’m in! Its vegan cheddar looks delicious and melty. While it’s only available on some restaurant menus in the Bay Area and NYC right now, I’m hoping it’ll expand to retail soon. Until then, I’ll be making it a mission to try it next time I’m in San Francisco.
