‘Glass Walls’: The Exhibit
You’re invited to the “Glass Walls” exhibit on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., which will be up through September 3.
The exhibit—which takes its name from Sir Paul McCartney’s poignant quote “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian”—shows similarities between past oppressions of humans and the current exploitation of other species. It focuses on how people in the past and present have sought to justify abuse and exploitation—regardless of the victims’ identities. We’re offering free Sir Paul McCartney “Glass Walls” DVDs, stickers, and recipes while supplies last. We encourage you to visit this free display today!
