Chrissy has been with PETA or the PETA Foundation as a volunteer, employee, or cheerleader since 1996. She holds the informal record of adopting the most companion animals from PETA, including two rescued Pekin ducks, Quackers and Crackers. She has a master’s degree in the humanities and is in love with writing. Her work has been published in USA Today, The Washington Post, the Austin American-Statesman, The Free Lance-Star, The St. Petersburg Times, and many other newspapers. When Chrissy’s not blogging, she’s stalking her cats and dogs, determined to catch every spotted belly and toe curl on camera.
