PETA is a social justice organization for other animals, and we want you to join us in being their informed activists. You’ve already completed step one: Signing up for PETA’s Action Team. Step two: Watch this important video, which explains PETA’s philosophy in just eight minutes. This is required viewing for all PETA Action Team members, and whether you’re new to animal rights or a seasoned advocate, we think you’ll also find it informative and inspiring.

Step three: Order Animal Liberation—read or listen to the book to learn more about the foundational principles that started PETA.

Step four: Get loud for animals. Leaflet, write letters, organize demonstrations, and more. Remember: It’s not enough to support animal rights passively—we must be actively anti-speciesist. Now let’s get out there and push others to give animals the consideration and respect that they deserve!
