Urge United Technical Operations in San Francisco to Ditch Glue Traps!

United Technical Operations, a team of maintenance engineers for United Airlines in San Francisco, has reportedly set out glue traps in an apparent attempt to control the rodent population.

Victims of these devices suffer immensely, succumbing to shock, dehydration, asphyxiation, or blood loss after ripping themselves apart in their frantic struggle to escape the gooey mess. Exhausted and terrified, they can take days to die—and labels instruct users to toss them into the garbage along with the traps! Furthermore, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cautions against using glue traps because of the human health risks they pose. And they’re indiscriminate, ensnaring countless “nontarget” species every year. Shockingly, even though PETA shared all this information with the business, we’ve received no assurance that glue traps would be removed and banned, so your help is desperately needed.

Please politely e-mail the senior vice president of technical operations at United Airlines and call United Technical Operations, requesting that any glue traps be removed immediately:
