Asia Campaign Coordinator (PETA Asia-Pacific)
Position Objective:
To manage and coordinate PETA Asia-Pacific’s many cutting-edge campaigns and work with activists across Asia to draw attention to animal rights issues. This position is based in Manila.

Campaigns Manager
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and manage cutting-edge campaigns against companies and industries that abuse animals
- Organize and attend street-theater-style protests in Asia
- Coordinate campaigns and projects for PETA Asia-Pacific, liaising with PETA Asia-Pacific entities around the world to generate support for our campaigns
- Work to create attention-grabbing viral videos, Web sites, and other interactive online campaigns to increase awareness of animal rights issues
- Work to create provocative ad campaigns and other materials that further animal rights or push companies to change
- Work to generate media coverage of PETA Asia-Pacific’s efforts through protests, celebrity support, and more
- Act as a PETA Asia-Pacific spokesperson by assisting with interviews with local and national television outlets, radio stations, newspapers, and magazines
Qualifications:
- Passion for fighting cruelty to animals and a commitment to PETA Asia-Pacific’s objectives
- Must adhere to a vegetarian lifestyle
- Desire and willingness to participate in provocative campaigns
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Outgoing and personable manner
- Supportive position vis-à-vis PETA Asia-Pacific’s philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA Asia-Pacific’s positions on issues
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues preferred
- Ability to deal patiently with the media
