PETA Science Consortium International Donates Equipment to Support Animal-Free Testing
PETA Science Consortium International e.V. donated equipment, worth $120,000 in total, to two organizations that develop or conduct exclusively non-animal tests. One piece of equipment is used to assess the potential of chemicals to cause skin allergies or changes to DNA, while the other is used to assess the likelihood that inhaled chemicals will cause an allergic reaction in the lungs. Both pieces replace the use of animals in painful tests.
