Fourth Largest Coffee Chain Drops Vegan Milk Upcharge

After hearing from PETA, Scooter’s Coffee—a top U.S. coffee chain with over 800 locations —dropped its upcharge on all vegan milk, including almond, oat, and coconut! Now, compassionate consumers can enjoy their coffee with cruelty-free vegan milk without paying an extra cent. Scooter’s Coffee joins Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Blue Bottle Coffee, Gregory’s Coffee, Panera Bread, Philz Coffee, Pret A Manger, and Stumptown Coffee Roasters in ending this unjust fee. Charging more for non-dairy options discriminates against lactose-intolerant or otherwise dairy-free customers and punishes those choosing to make ethical and healthy choices. The dairy industry forcibly impregnates mother cows, tears away their babies, and eventually violently kills them for their flesh. We ask everyone to help urge The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Dunkin’, and Peet’s to drop the upcharge on vegan milk, too!
