Judge Recommends Default Judgment Against Dade City’s Wild Things
A U.S. magistrate judge issued a report recommending that a default judgment be entered against Dade City’s Wild Things (DCWT) and its owners, finding that they had violated the federal Endangered Species Act. If this report is adopted by the District Court judge in the matter and PETA is granted the relief it is seeking, DCWT will no longer be able to steal cubs from their mothers, force them into public encounters, and warehouse them in tiny cages as adults.
