Edgewell Personal Care Bans Badger Hair
After hearing from PETA, Edgewell Personal Care—which owns Schick, Wilkinson Sword, Jack Black, and many other brands—agreed not to use badger hair again! This is wonderful news for badgers because the industries that use their hair in paint, shaving, or makeup brushes pay people to catch them in painful traps or breed them on farms inside cramped, wire cages before workers slit their throats. Although nearly 100 brands have banned badger hair, some companies continue to sell items made from it. Please urge Blick Art Materials and others to follow the example of Edgewell Personal Care, The Art of Shaving, Morphe, NARS Cosmetics, and many others by banning badger hair now.
