PETA Offers Up to $2,500 Reward for Help in Nabbing Bird Killer

Group Joins Palmer Animal Control in Effort to Solve Gosling Hit-and-Run Case

Palmer, Mass. — Someone drove over a gaggle of goslings on Shearer Street in Palmer at 6:45 a.m. on May 31, killing seven immediately and leaving another to die after being taken to a veterinarian’s office. News sources state that the car did not stop. Police have yet to make any arrests in connection with the deadly incident. That’s why PETA is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver responsible for this crime.

“Plowing a car through a group of birds is egregiously cruel and against the law,” says PETA Director Martin Mersereau. “The only way to stop people who demonstrate such blatant disregard for life is to bring them to justice before they maim and kill more animals.”
