Super Bowl LIV will be kicking off on Sunday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and we all know what that means—it’s party time, aka “vegan chicken wings time.” Whether you’re celebrating in the “King of the Wings” (Miami) or at home, you can be an MVP for chickens by opting for one of the delicious vegan wings below.
Will you be in or near Miami for Super Bowl LIV?
If so, you’re in luck—Florida’s most populous urban area is chock-full of vegan chicken wing options. In no particular order, here are a few of our first-round picks:
Clovermint Café & Market
If hot sauce, house-made cashew Buffalo sauce, and cool ranch dressing sound like your jam, try the Buffalo cauliflower appetizer from Clovermint Café, located just 10 miles from the stadium.
Full Bloom
Roasted Buffalo cauliflower wings? Yes, please! The side of house-made vegan ranch dressing completes this unbeatable appetizer.
Yard House
The spicy vegan chicken wings from Yard House are a surefire crowd-pleaser. Choose from the Buffalo, ancho BBQ, and Smokey BBQ flavors—all three are made using Gardein vegan chicken. Just be sure to replace the nonvegan side of ranch with spicy tahini or another vegan sauce option.
If you’re not in Miami Beach, don’t fret—Yard House restaurants can be found all across the U.S. Find your nearest Yard House restaurant.
Root n Seeds Cantina
If it’s vegan Buffalo wings you’re after, look no further than Root n Seeds. This food truck offers deep-fried soybean tempeh smothered in Buffalo sauce and served with a side of vegan blue cheese for dippin’.
Mora Pizza
Miami’s Mora Pizza has more than just pizza—it has vegan chicken wings, too! Choose plain, BBQ, or Buffalo sauce, and enjoy your flavor selection with vegan ranch on the side.
Earls Dadeland
Not only does Earls Dadeland offer vegan Buffalo cauliflower, the appetizer also comes with a side of vegan ranch. Clearly, Earls gets it: It’s all about the dip. The Miami hotspot’s vegan menu also features a green dragon sushi roll, a crispy tofu bowl, and more.
Vannucchi Brothers
The vegan chicken wings from Vannucchi Brothers are Gardein brand (our favorite) and tossed in your choice of sauce: Buffalo, BBQ, or marinara. You can order them in five-, 10-, or 20-piece servings, each of which comes with a side of house-made vegan ranch dressing.
Green Belly Cafe
Inside Roots Miami Kava Bar & Vegan Eatery, you’ll find Green Belly Cafe, which offers Roasted Cauliflower Bites worthy of an extra point. Dipped in spicy coconut milk, covered with breadcrumbs, and roasted to perfection, these are sure to score. Ask for a side of Buffalo or BBQ sauce to take these “wings” to the next level!
The Spanglish Vegan
The Spanglish Vegan—a 100% vegan food truck in Miami—is offering a special Super Bowl menu in honor of the big game. Bonus: Catering trays are available if you’re hosting a game-day party. Give The Spanglish Vegan a call to order your CauliWings (with your choice of BBQ, jerk, or pineapple jalapeño sauce), plus try the truck’s Buffalo mac ‘n’ cheese, Chkn Sliders, conch fritters, and empanadas.
Ms. Cheezious
The tempeh wings from Ms. Cheezious—which boasts a brick-and-mortar store and a food truck in the Magic City—are perfectly flavorful. “This is the definition of comfort food,” commented one Yelp reviewer.
Other spots in and around the city will be offering vegan chicken wings, too, like Tootsie’s Cabaret—stop by the popular adult club on February 2 and ask your server for the special Super Bowl vegan wings. If you’re closer to Fort Lauderdale, consider a visit to cocktail bar and kitchen Milk Money—it’ll be dishing up wingless crispy Buffalo cauliflower. (The vegan blue cheese dip is bomb.)
Remember: Chickens needs their wings—we don’t. Help stop millions of chickens from being slaughtered for their flesh by opting for one of the many vegan wings above.
Are you throwing a game-day party at home?
Well, then—we have more good news: As easy as it is to find vegan chicken wings in Miami, it’s even easier to find them in grocery stores or to make your own at home. A few of our supermarket favorites include Gardein Barbecue Chick’n Wings …
… and Field Roast’s FRuffalo Wings:
