Military Circle Mall Goes to the Dogs (and Cats!) With PETA Spay/Neuter Special

PETA’s mobile veterinary clinic’s Spay and Neuter Immediately, Please (SNIP) program will be setting up shop outside the Military Circle Mall for a one-day-only pup-up sterilization sale: Dogs will get the snip for just $25—a savings of nearly 75%—and companion cats will be “fixed” for free.

Where:    Military Circle Mall (outside the food court entrance), 880 N. Military Hwy., Norfolk

When:    Friday, November 15, 8–9 a.m. check-in (by appointment only)

Appointments are required (and limited!) and can be made by calling PETA at 757-622-PETA (7382), extension 3, or reserving a spot online at PETA.org/SpayNeuter. Please note that there is a weight limit of 80 pounds per animal and microchipping is available for $30.

Every year, more than 6 million dogs and cats end up in animal shelters across the U.S., and half of them must be euthanized, many simply because there aren’t enough good homes for them. The solution is simple: spaying and neutering, a service that PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to abuse in any way” and which opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview—provides for free and at low cost in southeastern Virginia.
