It turns out that the City of Lights is also a city with delicious vegan fare. We’ve got the goods on where to get the crème de la crème of vegan food in Paris—croissants included—without harming animals. Pigs, chickens, ducks, cows, and other animals are exploited by the meat, egg, and dairy industries—but every animal is someone, not something, and deserves respect. Choosing to support vegan eateries in every city can make a massive difference for all animals.
Here are some of the top spots for vegan fare in Paris:
Bloom Sushi
Sushi in Paris? You better believe it! This modern spot, which has two locations on the Right Bank, offers a menu full of creative vegan sushi rolls, appetizers, and omakase. The restaurant will even be present at the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Boneshaker Donuts & Coffee
This vegan sweets shop, which specializes in doughnuts, has a menu of rotating seasonal delights made fresh every morning. It also serves cinnamon rolls, brownies, and other baked goods.
Cloud Cakes
Sitting in a Parisian café, sipping fine coffee, and enjoying fresh croissants and jam—does it get any more French than that? No, we didn’t think so.
