Wear Your Heart on Your ‘Tweet’
Written by Tiffany Rose
In a 2015 article in The American Psychological Association’s journal Emotion, researchers found that people who received expressions of gratitude for their actions were more likely to seek an ongoing relationship with the person giving thanks, even if that person was a stranger. So showing some love for a job well done not only makes people feel better but also increases the likelihood that good deeds will continue!
With that in mind, we’ve listed some companies that have made positive strides for animals and deserve a thank you. Let’s ask them to open their hearts even more for animals:
- Pizza Hut:
LOVE that @pizzahut is offering #vegan cheese in the #UK 🍕 It’s time for them to bring it across the pond!BLOCK_MULTI_0 - Burlington:
Dear @burlington: Thank you for banning fur. Now, PLEASE ditch angora. - Bed Bath & Beyond:
Love that @BedBathBeyond offers 100s of #vegan, #DownFree bedding. With so many warm & cozy options, there’s no reason to keep selling down ❤ Please go down free! - Home Depot:
Thank you @HomeDepot for making the compassionate choice to stop using glue traps in your stores. Now, please STOP selling them to your customers. You can do better!
Thank you for having a heart and taking action for animals!
