Single White Poodle Seeks Partner for Long Walks on the Beach
After being abandoned by his previous owners at a veterinary clinic in Danville, Virginia, Herman could hardly be blamed for having a touch of separation anxiety. When the tiny poodle was first transferred to PETA’s Norfolk headquarters from the Danville Area Humane Society, a local shelter with whom we frequently partner, Herman was so afraid of being left behind that he clung to everyone like Velcro. In fact, he craved being held so much, it was nearly impossible to take him for a walk because he didn’t want to get down!
Herman is still all about the snuggles, but he is blossoming in his foster home and gaining more confidence every day.
He especially loves going to the beach, where there’s plenty of room for running, fascinating smells for snuffling, and piles of sand for digging.
Herman is only 2 years old, so there’s still a lot of puppy in his tiny 7-pound frame. One of his favorite games is playing tag with his foster brother, who is sometimes caught by surprise when an impromptu game breaks out.
Do you enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach, and cuddles on the couch? What a coincidence—so does Herman! E-mail [email protected] to “swipe right” and make a connection with this single white poodle.
