Baked Tempeh Bacon

- 8 oz. tempeh, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce or tamari
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine the soy sauce, liquid smoke, oil, maple syrup, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl and mix until well combined.
- Dip the tempeh slices into the mixture until evenly coated and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle half the remaining marinade over them.
- Bake for 7 minutes, then flip the slices over and drizzle on the rest of the marinade.
- Bake for 8 more minutes.
