After hearing from PETA that rabbits raised for angora wool often live inside filthy, cramped cages for years and that workers pin them down and violently rip out their fur as they scream in pain and struggle to escape, Outdoor Research swiftly agreed to remove angora beanies from its future lines and liquidate its current inventory. The company joins the growing list of over 200 compassionate retailers that have agreed not to support the cruel angora-wool industry.
