Boulder Stops Poisoning Prairie Dogs

PETA supported Rocky Mountain Animal Defense’s efforts to prevent Boulder City Council from rescinding the city’s prairie dog and bird protection ordinances, which prevent developers and businesses from poisoning these animals. The City Council voted a unanimous yes to a temporary moratorium on killing these animals until activists and city attorneys can develop a proper, humane wildlife protection ordinance.
