Gorilla at Zoo Breaks Glass, Charges Towards Family
The incident, which could have quickly turned deadly for animals and humans, occurred at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. This is just one example why animals belong in the wild, not in captivity!
PETA spoke up on Twitter about the incident:
(2/4): Humans share 98% of our DNA with gorillas. The only surprise is that incidents like this one don’t happen more often.

(3/4): A gorilla who has been locked up & put on display in a #zoo reacts just as we would: w/ boredom, frustration, anger & even psychosis.

(4/4): Zoos simply can’t come close to matching the space, diversity, companionship, & freedom animals enjoy in wild: http://t.co/fO6SHXse7g
