Watch: John Hargrove Takes Down SeaWorld on The Daily Show, SeaWorld’s #AskSeaWorld Campaign Backfires Spectacularly
John Hargrove, author of a firsthand account of what happens at SeaWorld, Beneath the Surface: Killer Whales, SeaWorld, and the Truth Beyond ‘Blackfish’, spoke to the Daily Show on Thursday night. Here’s what he had to say:
Meanwhile, SeaWorld launched a Twitter campaign encouraging followers to send in questions using the hashtag, #AskSeaWorld. As you’ll see in this feature by Newsday, the campaign took a turn for the worse. Tweets like this were pouring in all day:
