Photo of the Day: After Seeing PETA’s Circus Protest, This Guy Did Something Amazing

This is what makes standing outside in the cold wearing little more than body paint and elephant masks worthwhile. One circus-goer was so upset after he saw PETA’s protest signs outside the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., that he not only decided against going to see Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, he joined the protest!

Ben wasn’t the only one who had a change of heart after learning about the suffering of elephants and other animals in the circus. One couple stopped in their tracks on the way to buy circus tickets and instead went to a play.

Another woman said she would not support Ringling after finding out that elephants in the circus are beaten. “Animal cruelty is the worst,” she said.
