Super Bowl XLIX’s Ads: A Win for Animals
Whether your team won or lost the Super Bowl this year, we can all agree that the big winners in 2015 were the animals! Computer-generated imagery ruled the big game, with companies like Mercedes portraying breathtaking animal characters with modern technology—and with no abused baby chimpanzees in sight.
“With the halftime show’s gorgeous mechanical lion and adorable costumed dancing sharks, seemingly no animals were hurt or traumatized to train them for commercials so PETA can safely say that Super Bowl XLIX was a bigger win for animals than any year before,” said PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman.
Of course PETA’s favorite ad this year didn’t air. Take a look!
