When he saw the pup getting into potty stance, Joseph tried to sprint down the stairs to usher the dog outside but fell and sprained his ankle. PETA sent both Faurias a get-well gift of a (pain-free) housetraining guide, treats for both of them, and Ingrid Newkirk‘s book Let’s Have a Dog Party! to give Joseph some reading material—and some fun ideas for bonding with Little Rufio.
- PETA is ramping up our campaign to get the U.S. Department of Agriculture to seize captive elephant Nosey, who is still being forced to perform, despite her advancing age and chronic pain. Nearly 170,000 people have urged the government to save Nosey, and Olivia Munn asked her 623,000 Twitter followers to help:
