With summer in full swing, PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to abuse in any way”—has released a new video that uses video game–style graphics to show people how to be a hero for dogs trapped in hot cars. Available both as a YouTube video and a series of animated gifs, PETA’s fun new how-to provides a step-by-step guide for helping dogs on hot days—from taking a photo of the car’s license plate to getting nearby store managers and even 911 involved.
