As Mötley Crüe’s farewell tour gets underway, Tommy Lee isn’t just causing fans to leap from their seats―he’s causing them to look under them. In an innovative way to engage his fans in an issue close to his heart, Tommy is hosting a “SeaWorld Kills” scavenger hunt at the band’s show in Tampa on Sunday, just a short distance from the only SeaWorld park on the East Coast. Throughout the night, Mötley fans will attempt to find a “SeaWorld Sucks” shirt hidden at the concert by following clues tweeted by Tommy’s friends at PETA. Just like at Tommy’s last scavenger hunt in San Diego, the winner of this one will receive backstage passes to meet Tommy. Click here to read one of Tommy’s strongly worded anti-SeaWorld tweets from the day of his San Diego show.
SeaWorld has been rapidly losing favor with the public ever since the documentary Blackfish exposed its inhumane treatment of marine mammals, and its sinking popularity reached new depths recently when Southwest Airlines ended its more than 25-year partnership with the park.
