PETA’s Sexy Delivery Gals to Hand Out Free Vegan Pizza at State Capitol

Beauties Will Reveal the Delicious Side of Healthy and Ethical Eating at Dairy Day Celebration

If you’re looking for gourmet pizza in the Lansing area, you’re looking for Guido’s Premium Pizza in Okemos. And if you like your food free of charge, then you won’t want to miss PETA’s Sexy Pizza Delivery Gals—decked out in short, body-hugging rompers—outside the Dairy Day Celebration at the state Capitol building on Wednesday. Their point? That Guido’s has added delicious vegan cheese to its menu so that everyone can enjoy some of the best pizza around. Lactose intolerance, cholesterol, and saturated fats—as well as dehorning without the use of painkillers—are too much to swallow for a growing number of today’s consumers.

“Many people—including large numbers of African-Americans and Asian-Americans—are lactose intolerant and shouldn’t be going near dairy foods,” says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange. “That’s one reason PETA is promoting local businesses that are meeting the demand for top-quality vegan foods.”

Consuming dairy products increases the risk of developingheart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. Cows on dairy farms are killed when their milk production declines, at 4 or 5 years of age—far short of their 25-year natural life expectancy. After their calves are torn away from them, some mothers cry out for days.
