County Officials in West Virginia End Practice of Adopting Out Unaltered Animals

After reports that rabbits found languishing in deplorable conditions at a private home in West Virginia were given away free of charge to unscreened homes and possibly breeders without being spayed or neutered, PETA contacted county officials, who agreed to revise their adoption policies to include sterilization and careful placement.
