Wearing little more than bodypaint, three sexy PETA members made to look like pythons will slither near downtown Nashville on Thursday. The bodypainted beauties will encourage passersby—including those in town for Nashville Fashion Week—to leave wildlife out of their wardrobes.

When:   Thursday, April 3, noon

Where:  At the intersection of Fifth Avenue S. and Broadway, Nashville

“I’ll gladly bare my skin to help snakes keep theirs,” says PETA “python” Ashley Byrne. “Fashion Week is the perfect time to explore new trends—and thanks to designers such as Stella McCartney, cruelty-free fake snake is hotter than ever.”

McCartney’s faux-snakeskin designs have won the hearts of celebrities and everyday shoppers alike, and top retailers such as Topshop, Ann Taylor, Adidas, H&M, and Victoria’s Secret steer clear of exotic skins—for good reason.
