6.12.080 – Prolonged chaining prohibited.

It is unlawful to chain or tether an animal outside in excess of six consecutive hours per day, unless there is provided adequate shelter, food and water for the animal. In no event shall an animal be chained or tethered outdoors for more than ten (10) consecutive hours per day.
