Amaretto Almond Tarts

Ingredients

  • Premade little filo dough shells (Athens brand)
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup vegan honey
  • 4 Tbsp. soft tofu
  • 1 Tbsp. amaretto
  • Squeeze lemon
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Defrost the filo dough shells.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. Combine all remaining ingredients and mix well.
  5. Spoon the filling into the shells and bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool.
