Tour Company Helps Animals Used for Rides at the Pyramids at Giza

After learning from PETA that handlers at the pyramids at Giza in Egypt viciously beat horses and camels who were too exhausted to pull or carry tourists, Tauck—an operator of guided tours and cruises—agreed not to sell tickets for animal rides there and to remove camel rides from its marketing materials. Never participate in tourism that involves animals—including horse-drawn carriage and camel rides—even if the company or facility promises that the animals aren’t harmed. Please also sign the action alert here to help us urge Egypt’s minister of tourism and antiquities to ban camel rides and horse-drawn carriages.
