Major Footwear Brands Ban Cashmere

After learning from PETA that goats scream in pain and fear as they’re tied down and their hair is torn out in the cashmere industry, Genesco—which owns the brands Johnston & Murphy, Journeys, Little Burgundy, schuh, and others—confirmed that it no longer uses cashmere! We weren’t surprised that the company made this compassionate decision, given that it had previously banned angora, alpaca wool, and mohair. Please help us urge companies that still sell cashmere, including H&M, to cut ties with this cruel industry.
