This recipe will show you how to slow-cook some apples and turn them into the best vegan apple cobbler you’ve ever had!

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups firm, tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 2 Tbsp. flour

  • 1/3 cup white sugar

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • 2/3 cup oats

  • 1 cup water

  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl, toss the apples in the flour and white sugar. Stir in the dried cranberries, cinnamon, and oats.
  • Pour the water into a slow cooker and add the apple mixture. Pour the melted margarine over the apples and sprinkle with the brown sugar. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the apples are tender.
