What to Do if Your Animal Companion Is Sick

If you suspect that your animal companion is ill, please immediately and gently transport him or her to a veterinarian for a complete evaluation.

Visit the FDA's Website for information and news releases from companies that have recalled pet food.

Visit the Menu Foods Web site for information on the recall or call 1-866-895-2708.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you believe your animal companion has been sickened by contaminated food, please report this to the FDA immediately. Click here for a list of FDA offices by state.

Urge Menu Foods to provide answers and an explanation of the company’s cruel and unnecessary testing practices.

Demand lasting change from pet-food manufacturers—including Iams—today. No one knows just how many animals are sick and dying. This tragedy is proof that laboratory tests on animals have not made products safer—yet animals are still dying in laboratories for pet-food profits.

If you would like to join a class action lawsuit against Menu Foods, the following two law firms are spearheading such suits:

1) Myers & Company, PLLC
206-398-1188, ext. 103 or 105
kbosch@myers-company.com

Include your complete personal contact information, plus the following:

  • Your animal companion’s name and age
  • Your animal companion’s species
  • Whether or not the animal received treatment or is deceased
  • Where you purchased the contaminated food
  • The brand and type of food you purchased and fed your animal companion

2) Blim & Edelson, LLC
312-913-9400
